Many years ago owner Dave Puskavich had a dream to open the type of cigar lounge he would actually want to go to. Cigar smokers seem to be bonded with a love of cigars, camaraderie and great conversation, but they do tend to have different tastes in the atmosphere in which they enjoy that smoke. Dave had been to many formal cigar lounges with wood paneled walls and wing back chairs or built-for-buying-not-lounging small shops with a limited selection of cigars. They were fine but he wanted to create a unique place with a unique atmosphere while offering a large selection of fine cigars. Dave wanted his customers who were just stopping by to buy a few sticks to take home to feel like they were in an old country store, but alternatively, if they decided to stay for a smoke in the lounge, they would feel at home and their eyes would have a million interesting things to look at. And that is the story of how Leaning House Fine Cigars came to be. Dave never met a stranger who walked into his shop and those who have come back and stayed have become his brothers and sisters. Leaning House Fine Cigars slightly hidden away near Smitty's Marina on the Mon River, has been visited by people from all over the world. Many times we wonder how they found us. We hear, "Great cigar selection", "Helpful friendly staff" a lot around here, but more importantly what we hear the most is, "Wow this is a really cool shop man."
